About me

I started my journey with yoga years ago, after I suffered a great lost. Eager to find some deep peace and inner bliss, I set out on a journey to heal my physical self, and discovered in the process that i had to start to teach about internal awareness of my body and its connection to the Universe. It's a journey I live to share and want people to connect to their odeis.

 Certified in 2012, as a Hatha Yoga teacher, my yoga journey is a wonderful ongoing process in which I learn from my students continuously as they are my greatest teachers. My aim is to keep discovering without losing sight of my purpose and desire to be a positive influence in your journey... In my class I aim to challenge you in ways you may have not been in the past. My musical play list and sequencing will have you feeling like your warrior 1 is being done on a beach or on a rooftop patio overlooking the ocean. I hope that this imagery will help ease stress by redirecting our thinking towards bliss and the tranquility. I feel blessed to have studied yoga and its different lineages across several areas throughout Toronto, Miami, Belize, Honduras, Brazil, New York, Montreal, Mexico, Amsterdam, France and Spain. As an avid world traveler and a passionate professional dancer, I always aim to incorporate all my experience in dance (Samba, Bollywood, Ballroom and much more) in one way or another which i found has helped create a Flo Yoga class that is unique, different and fun. I am always aiming to challenge myself physically and i am born with a hungry curiosity. I have trained in ashtanga yoga and Budokon (martial arts inspired) yoga. I studied Bikram and Jazz Yoga methods, as well as ashtanga and vinyasa styles. I owned a Yoga Studio in Old Montreal called F.IN.E. I teach to learn and I learn to teach. I also teach Kids Yoga and have taught at Bota Bota, taught employees of companies such as Tank, Bethesda, Quadbridge, Arthur Murray, MMA Astoria in Queens, NY and much more. "A good teacher is forever a student." I also expanded my teaching to include Aerial Yoga as well as Hot Booty Ballet.

About my class and techniques:

We flow through poses in a fluid, almost dance flow. We hold and feel the poses concentrating on where we distribute our weight and the use of our breath in aiding us unblock those constricted spaces in our body. Music is played in background and can be at times coordinated with the flow. The goal of this class is to lengthen our limbs and gain flexibility in the spine.
